Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that an Auntie Anne’s Pretzels stand will open inside the Empire State Plaza’s main cafeteria in early fall 2018.

 

“Who doesn’t love or have friends who love to eat a warm, freshly baked pretzel?” asked Commissioner Destito. “We are eagerly awaiting the opening of Auntie Anne’s and know their pretzels, pretzel dogs, and lemonade will complement all the other amazing food vendors that do such a great job of satisfying the hunger and quenching the thirst of those who visit and work at the Empire State Plaza.”

 

“We’re thrilled to bring fresh, hot, golden brown Auntie Anne’s pretzels to the Empire State Plaza,” said Larry Jasenski, CEO of Draper Development and Auntie Anne’s franchisee. “We want to thank Commissioner Destito and the entire OGS team for this opportunity and look forward to serving Empire State Plaza employees and visitors for many years to come.”

 

Construction of Auntie Anne’s kiosk has begun in the Empire State Plaza’s main cafeteria and a grand opening is being planned for late September.

 

Auntie Anne’s hours of operations will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, and it will also be open for special events at the Plaza.
