LIRR Making Extra Stops at Forest Hills Station for Fans Heading to ‘FOLD Experience’ & Van Morrison Concert

MTA Long Island Rail Road will make extra stops at Forest Hills Station this coming weekend of October 8-9 to accommodate fans heading to the big concerts at Forest Hills Stadium.

On Saturday, October 8, the FOLD Experience concert comes to Forest Hills with an all-star lineup of musical talent, including Bette Midler, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Village People, CHIC featuring Nile Rogers plus cutting edge contemporary acts DJ Cassidy, Alex Newell and DJ Nicky Siano of Studio 54 on stage for one night only. Then on Sunday, October 9, Irish singer-songwriter and musician Van Morrison bring his tour to Queens. The six-time Grammy winner has been pleasing audiences for more than 50 years.

LIRR customers are advised to buy round-trip rail tickets in advance and be ready to present them when exiting the train. Tickets will be collected at Forest Hills Station. Door to the venue open at 3:30 p.m. Show time is 5 p.m. both days. All trains, both eastbound and westbound, passing Forest Hills from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. and again between 9 p.m. and midnight will stop at Forest Hills. Remember, in order to exit at the shorter Forest Hill Station platform, customers must be in one of the first four cars.
