Five Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following five businesses were recently certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Striplet Imagining LLC, located in Hauppauge, NY, provides document management services.
  • Avino Dover LLC, located in Northport, NY, specializes in horizontal construction work.
  • Sterling Glass of New York Inc., located in Rocky Point, NY, is a glass and glazing contractor.
  • Source Energy Infrared LLC, located in Burnt Hills, NY, is a building electrical and mechanical system inspector.
  • Cavalry Engineering PC, located in Patchogue, NY, specializes in environmental engineering.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 770 certified businesses.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
