Robert Moses State Park to Unveil Major Energy Efficiency Project

Governor’s NY Parks 2020 Program Continues to Transform State Park System

Announcement is Part of New York State’s Weeklong Celebration of Earth Day

On Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11 a.m., the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation will unveil a major energy efficiency project that will make Robert Moses one of the greenest state parks in the nation.  Robert Moses State Park has about five miles of ocean beach from which visitors can swim, surf or surf-fish, attracting more than 3 million visitors a year.
