Substitute Bus Service for Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Lines During This Evening’s Rush Hour CommuteNJ TRANSIT Service Remains Suspended to/from Hoboken Terminal

Metro-North Railroad customers who normally ride the Pascack Valley Line or the Port Jervis Line into or out of Hoboken Terminal, where train service remains suspended, are advised that Metro-North is providing alternative service plans.
Customers can catch Hudson Line trains from Grand Central Terminal for connections for bus service to points in Rockland County and Orange County, N.Y. For those customers who ride the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to workplaces in Jersey City or Bayonne, N.J., are advised to board PATH trains to WTC, and connect to the 4 or 5 subway lines to 42nd Street-Grand Central to connect to Hudson Line train service.
Details of bus connections are below:
For Pascack Valley Line customers, and Port Jervis Line customers traveling to Suffern, Sloatsburg, Tuxedo, Harriman and Salisbury Mills stations:
Take a Hudson Line train to Tarrytown Station for connecting bus service to Pearl River, Nanuet and Spring Valley on the Pascack Valley Line and Suffern, Sloatsburg, Tuxedo, Harriman and Salisbury Mills/Cornwall stations on the Port Jervis Line.
Buses are scheduled to meet trains departing from Grand Central Terminal between 3:43 p.m. and 8:33 p.m.
For Port Jervis Line customers traveling to Campbell Hall, Middletown, Otisville or Port Jervis stations:
Take a Hudson Line train to Beacon for connecting bus service to all stations between Campbell Hall and Port Jervis.
Buses are scheduled to meet trains departing from Grand Central Terminal between 3:48 p.m. and 8:29 p.m.
An alternate service plan is being developed for Friday, September 30. Customers can remain updated on the latest service changes by signing up for free email and text alerts, visiting www.mta.info, following Metro-North on Twitter and monitoring local news outlets.
Metro-North will be cross honoring all Pascack Valley Line and Port Jervis Line rail tickets until further notice.
