What:             New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), representatives from the State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and Audubon New York will join state and local partners to launch the Capital Region segment of the New York State Birding Trail, part of a statewide initiative to increase equity and access to recreation and engagement with nature close to home.

When:             Friday, May 20, at 11:00 a.m.   

                        Where:           Five Rivers Environmental Education Center
                                               56 Game Farm Road, Delmar, NY 12054

                        Event is at the large pavilion near the main parking lot, and accessible from
                        Nature’s Backyard Trail.
