NEW YORK, July 7, 2014 — New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) today launched an online public survey to assist with the development of an agency work plan for 2015 – 2018. The survey will be available to the public from Monday, July 7, 2014 to Monday, August 4, 2014 and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey can be completed at: tinyurl.com/NYSCASurvey1

NYSCA, a New York State government agency, promotes and supports statewide arts, culture and heritage activities and the state’s position as a national and international cultural center through its competitive grant program.

The survey results will be used to develop and refine NYSCA’s 2015-2018 agency work plan and align it with the values and priorities of the state’s citizens and visitors. NYSCA’s 2015-2018 agency work plan will be released in late 2014 and will be posted on the agency’s website: www.arts.ny.gov.
