WHAT: White House Coordinator for Operation Allies Welcome Jack Markell is meeting with state and local leaders to discuss New York’s strong work welcoming and supporting Afghan allies across the state.

New York State and the City of Albany are working closely with their federal partners and the state’s refugee resettlement agencies to assist with the resettlement of Afghan nationals placed in New York.
