PURSUANT to the Open Meetings Law, the New York State Department of Labor hereby gives notice of the following:

The Wage Board appointed by State Labor Commissioner Peter M. Rivera will meet on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Noon. The meeting will be held in Classrooms D and E in Building 12 at the Harriman State Office Campus in Albany.

The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to discuss and develop recommendations for what, if any, modifications should be made to the required cash wage rates and the allowable credits for tips, meals and lodging for food service workers and service employees in the hospitality industry.

The meeting is open to members of the public; however, no public testimony will be taken at the meeting. Public testimony was previously taken at four public hearings held in October, November and December. Written testimony can be submitted to the Board through December 15 by e-mail to wageboard@labor.ny.gov, by fax to 518-485-1126 or by regular mail to New York State Department of Labor, ATTN: Wage Board, Building 12, Room 586, Harriman State Office Campus, Albany, NY 12240.
