Lift Tests at RFK Bridge Manhattan Span Scheduled for Early Morning of Feb. 20 and 21

Intermittent Closures Planned for Both Directions

Intermittent, full closures of the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge’s Harlem River Lift Span to/from Manhattan are scheduled during early morning hours on Thursday, Feb. 20, and Friday, Feb. 21, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. for testing of the lifting mechanism of the bridge.

Each closure lasts approximately 20 minutes. Motorists should allow for additional travel time or consider an alternate route.
