MTA Board to Convene For a Special Meeting on Monday, April 3 |
|
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced that its Board will convene for a special meeting on Monday, April 3, at 9:30 a.m.
Like all Board meetings, next Monday’s special meeting will be held at the MTA’s headquarters building at 2 Broadway in lower Manhattan, will be open to the public, and will be broadcast live at YouTube.com/mtainfo and on the MTA’s website, at service.mta.info/webcastplayer.
The meeting will take up consideration of a slate of five procurements that were approved by the MTA Board’s committees on March 20. These procurements were originally slated for consideration at the MTA’s regularly monthly meeting on March 22, but consideration was postponed because although a quorum was present, last minute scheduling conflicts meant that too few Board members were present to allow for a two-thirds majority approval.
The MTA Board regularly meets every month except August. Meetings are generally the last or second-to-last Wednesday of the month.
