New York Partnership to Connect Science to Action at the 2019 Invasive Species Conference

National Conference to be held in Saratoga Springs


Beginning Monday, Sept. 30, New York State will serve as the host state for the 2019 Annual Invasive Species Conference. The North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA) together with Cornell University’s New York Invasive Species Research Institute (NYISRI) will host the event in collaboration with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).

This year’s conference will highlight successful initiatives that connect science to action across geographic, political, and public-private boundaries.

When
: The conference will kick off on Monday, Sept. 30, at 9 a.m. at the Hilton Saratoga, Saratoga Springs. The four-day conference features internationally renowned keynote speakers, topical sessions, posters, exhibits, workshops and field trips to see invasive species management first-hand.
