Bear Mountain State Park Trailside Museums and Zoo

What: Ribbon cutting at Bear Mountain State Park Trailside Museums and Zoo celebrating the completion of a $1.8 million improvement project that adds three new, state-of-the art animal habitats and a public loop trail. 

 

When: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 

 

Where: Bear Mountain State Park Trailside Museums and Zoo 

 4 Fort Clinton Way, Tomkins Cove, NY 10986  

 (Address to enter into GPS to access the Bear Mountain staff gate) 

 

Note: To find the Bear Mountain staff gate, follow directions to the Bear Mountain traffic circle. Exit the circle as if going over the Bear Mountain Bridge heading east, take immediate right onto bridge service road. Bear left (keeping grey fence on your right and ignoring “do not enter” sign). Go 300 feet down service road. Staff gate is on your right. Staff will be around to direct you where to park and how to get to the ribbon cutting area at the Zoo.
