The New York Lottery today announced that one third prize winning ticket worth $50,000 for the January 29, 2022 Powerball® drawing was purchased in Elmhurst. The winning ticket has four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The prize-winning ticket was purchased at the 99 Cents Plus Gricery Store on Woodside Avenue. 

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on January 29 were: 2-15-38-54-65 and the Powerball is 11. Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m. The jackpot for the drawing to be held on January 31 is $113 milion.
