The New York Lottery today announced that three third prize winning Powerball® tickets for the July 27, 2022 drawing were purchased in New York. The winning tickets each have four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

One of the prize-winning tickets is a Powerplay win, worth $100,000. The winning ticket was purchased at the Players Cafe on Bleecker Street in Manhattan. Two winners, each worth $50,000, were sold for the drawing. One ticket was purchased at the Flory Mobil Mart on Schuyler Drive in Fishkill. The second winner was purchased at Zee Smoke & Convenience on 14th Street in Manhattan. The winning numbers for July 27 are: 1-25-44-55-57 and the Powerball is 26.

Powerball costs $2 per play. For an extra $1 players can add Powerplay, which multiplies a prize – not including the jackpot – by up to ten times. The Powerplay multiplier for Wednesday's drawing is 2. 

The jackpot is now an estimated $170 million for the drawing to be held on Wednesday.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
