MEDIA ADVISORY: MTA Leadership and Elected Officials to Hand Out Free Masks to Customers as Part of ‘Mask Force’

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and its volunteer ‘Mask Force,’ including MTA board members and local elected officials, will distribute free masks to customers throughout the MTA service region today, Thursday, April 22. MTA executives will include Chairman and CEO Patrick Foye and the heads of Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad. 

Chairman Foye will be distributing limited edition masks in Queens.  

Media will have the opportunity to make B-roll video of the Mask Force.

SCHEDULE:
6:00 a.m. - 6:30 a.m.: Metro-North Railroad President Cathy Rinaldi, MTA Board Member Neal Zuckerman, State Senator Pete Harckham and Southeast Town Supervisor Tony Hay at the Southeast Metro-North station, SOUTHEAST, NY 

7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.: Long Island Rail Road President Phil Eng at the Woodside LIRR station, QUEENS 

8:00 a.m. - 8:25 a.m.: MTA Chairman and CEO Patrick Foye and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards at the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74 St 7efmr station, QUEENS
