Twelve Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following ten businesses were recently certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Ground Force Property Services LLC, located in Liverpool, NY, provides landscaping and snow removal services.
  • Veterans Emergency Management Allied Corp, located in Bronx, NY, is an emergency management consultant and provides veteran assistance.
  • Four J's Transportation, Inc., located in Port Chester, NY, is an emergency Medicaid transportation provider.
  • John Mallen Communications Inc., located in Kingston, NY, specializes in marketing and graphic arts.
  • Patriot Shotcrete LLC, located in Jersey, NJ, is a finishing concrete contractor.
  • I.P.P Investigations LLC, located in New York, NY, specializes in investigative services.
  • Casper Contracting Inc., located in Selden, NY, is a general contractor.
  • BMD Armed Security Inc., located in Syracuse, NY, provides security guard and patrol services.
  • Electrical Safety Specialists LLC, located in Louisburg, KS, specializes in electrical safety services.
  • RSC Contractors LLC, located in Syracuse, NY, is a general contractor specializing in site work and electrical disciplines.
  • E.A.C.H. 29 LLC, located in West Palm Beach, FL, provides safety and security services.
  • A. Hanley Inc., located in Sayville, NY, manufactures electrical equipment and is a contractor.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 839 certified businesses.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
