LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (Oct. 10, 2018) --- The North Atlantic Regional Figure Skating Championships return to Lake Placid, N.Y., October 17-21, 2018. This competition is the first step in the U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition structure. The top four skaters in each level – juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior and senior – will advance to the Eastern Sectional Figure Skating Championships. The top four at sectionals in each level will then advance to the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in January. WHAT: North Atlantic Regional Figure Skating Championships WHEN: October 17-21, 2018 WHERE: Lake Placid, N.Y., Olympic Center WHY: This competition is the first step in the U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition structure. The top four skaters in each level – juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior and senior – will advance to the Eastern Sectional Figure Skating Championships. The event’s credential application form is available HERE. Credentials are due no later than October 10, 2018 for consideration.
