New York State Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon today announced that the fourth Recruitment Day in her statewide tour will be held Friday, June 16th at The Development Corporation, located at 190 Banker Road, Suite 500 in Plattsburgh. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with 12 businesses offering 76 job opportunities expected to attend.

“Recruitment events are always exciting for businesses and job seekers alike,” said Commissioner Reardon. “ For businesses, these events offer a unique opportunity to survey local talent, and for job seekers, they offer the face-to-face meeting that can make the difference in getting that new job they’re after. The Department of Labor is pleased to be able to facilitate these events and I look forward to a productive day in Plattsburgh!”

At Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s direction, Commissioner Reardon has been traveling throughout the state in order to facilitate Recruitment Day events to promote hiring local workers. She has also been meeting with union leadership to discuss regional issues.
