WHAT:           Ribbon-cutting for playground transformation project

The PS 156/392 Community Playground transformation was designed by students, staff, parents, and community members through The Trust for Public Land’s NYC Playgrounds Program. The playground is part of Governor Cuomo’s Vital Brooklyn initiative – to increase access to open space, recreation, and healthy food; create better jobs and schools; prevent violence; and enhance resiliency. Partners, school children and community members will cut the ribbon on the former asphalt lot at Friday’s ceremony.
