In spite of prevailing weather conditions, Lake Placid, the place to “Invent your own perfect day” is proving that it doesn’t need to snow for visitors to enjoy the attractions, amenities and family-friendly entertainment options available throughout the Adirondack alpine village.

“In addition to events and attractions, our alpine village is pedestrian-friendly and walkable, with shopping and dining opportunities from books to Dale of Norway sweaters and brewpubs to fine dining," said James McKenna, president of the Lake Placid-based Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism. “Lake Placid is uniquely positioned to provide an exceptional, weatherproof experience any time of year!”
