Take MTA Long Island Rail Road to See Dolly Parton at Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday, June 25 at 7 p.m.

Country Music Icon & Film Star on 60 City, “Pure & Simple” Concert Tour

MTA Long Island Rail Road is making extra stops at Forest Hills Station to accommodate fans heading to Forest Hills Stadium to see the irrepressible Dolly Parton in concert on Saturday evening, June 25.

 

The internationally renowned singer, songwriter and actress is performing at the historic Queens venue as part of her first major U.S. and Canadian concert tour in more than 25 years. In all, Dolly is taking her “Pure & Simple” tour to 60 cities in conjunction with the release this summer of her new double-disc album of the same title.

 

Besides train regularly scheduled to stop at Forest Hills, the LIRR will have an additional 19 eastbound and 14 westbound trains making stops at Forest Hills before the concert and an additional 10 eastbound and 12 westbound trains stopping there after the show to get customers. Forest Hills Stadium doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Customers are reminded that only the first four cars of each train platform at Forest Hills. So concert goers should make sure they are situated in the first four cars beforehand.
