LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (July 15, 2015) --- Media credentials are now being accepted to attend the Aug. 1-8 2015 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp, being held in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Thirty-nine players have been invited to the camp. The players will audition for a spot on the U.S. National Junior Team that will take part in the 2016 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2015 through Jan. 5, 2016, in Helsinki, Finland.

The United States has medaled in three of the last six IIHF World Junior Championships, including gold in 2013 and 2010 and bronze in 2011.

Players will stay at the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center while all games and practices, involving the United States, Sweden and Finland, will be held at Lake Placid Olympic Center's 1980 Herb Brooks Arena. The U.S. players will practice and compete in international games against Finland and Sweden.
