DEC to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Willie Marsh Interpretive Trail and Improvements at Peck Hill State Forest

Improvements Part of Governor Cuomo's Adventure NY Initiative to Connect New Yorkers with Outdoors


Who:  New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Executive Deputy Commissioner Ken Lynch and Region 5 Director Robert Stegemann will be joined by local officials and community partners for a formal ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil new improvements that are part of Governor Cuomo’s Adventure NY initiative to connect New Yorkers with the outdoors.

What: DEC and partners unveil improvements at the Willie Marsh Interpretive Trail in the Peck Hill State Forest  

When: Wednesday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m.

Where:  Willie Marsh Interpretive Trailhead Parking Area, Peck Hill State Forest, town of Johnstown, Fulton County
(43.0830N, 74.4425W -- Coordinates are in decimal degrees using NAD83 or WGS84 datum.)
