Thacher State Park Indian Ladder Trail to Reopen Saturday

The popular Indian Ladder Trail at John Boyd Thacher State Park will reopen Saturday. New York State Parks is wrapping up a rock scaling and cleanup project to remove loose rock from slopes along the half-mile trail. Guided tours of the trail will also resume. Visit the park’s online calendar of events for details: https://parks.ny.gov/parks/128/details.aspx. In addition to the Indian Ladder Trail, Thacher State Park features over 25 miles of trails for summer hiking and mountain biking, and winter cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and snowmobiling.

Also opening this weekend is the Garden Bistro 24 at the Overlook!  Stop by for a bite starting 11:00 am Saturday.

The park, located along Route 157 in Voorheesville, is open daily from 7 a.m. to sunset.
