PUBLIC NOTICE: Wage Board Meeting to be Held on January 30, 2015 |

PURSUANT to the Open Meetings Law, the New York State Department of Labor hereby gives notice of the following:
The Wage Board appointed by the State Labor Commissioner will meet on Friday, January 30, 2015, at Noon. The meeting will be held in Classrooms D and E in Building 12 at the Harriman State Office Campus in Albany and connected by videoconference to the Commissioner’s Conference Room at 75 Varick Street, 7th floor in New York City and to the offices of the New York Hotel and Motel Trades Council, 707 Eighth Avenue in New York City.
The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to discuss and develop recommendations for what, if any, modifications should be made to the required cash wage rates and the allowable credits for tips, meals and lodging for food service workers and service employees in the hospitality industry.
The meeting is open to members of the public; however, no public testimony will be taken at the meeting. Public testimony was previously taken at four public hearings held in October, November and December.
