ADVISORY: MTA Chairman Joseph Lhota to Announce Plan to Stabilize and Modernize the New York City Subway System

 

TODAY, Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 2:30 p.m., MTA Chairman Lhota will announce the MTA’s new plan to stabilize and improve the New York City subway system and lay a foundation for modernization. Today’s announcement comes less than a month after Governor Cuomo declared New York City’s subways to be in a state of emergency and directed Chairman Lhota to provide a plan for immediate action that puts customers first.
