New York State Siting Board to Meet

Siting Board to Consider Appeals Related to Galloo Island Wind and Hecate Solar

 

ALBANY — The New York State Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment (Siting
Board) will meet on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. to consider an interlocutory appeal related to the Galloo Island Wind project that is proposed to be constructed and operated in Jefferson County, and at 3 p.m. to consider an interlocutory appeal related to the Hecate solar energy project proposed to be constructed and operated in Greene County.

Case 15-F-0327       Application of Galloo Island Wind LLC for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need Pursuant to Article 10 to Construct a Wind Energy Project.  Request for Interlocutory Appeal Regarding Intervenor Funding filed by Anthony and Cara Dibnah.
 
3:00 P.M.
 
Case 17-F-0619      Application of Hecate Energy Greene 1 LLC, Hecate Energy Greene 2 LLC, and Hecate Energy Greene County 3 LLC for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need Pursuant to Article 10 of the Public Service Law for Construction of a Solar Electric Generating Facility Located in the Town of Coxsackie, Greene County. Request for Interlocutory Appeal Regarding Intervenor Funding filed by Scenic Hudson, Inc.
 
At 2 p.m., members of the Siting Board will meet in the Public Service Commission’s Board Room, 19th floor, 3 Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York, with video-conference connections to the Public Service Commission’s Board Room, 4th floor, 90 Church St., New York, New York and the Department of Environmental Conversation, Room 504F, 5th Floor, Dulles State Office Building, 317 Washington St, Watertown, New York. In addition, the meeting will be webcast live on the Internet. The Siting Board will consider whether to grant the interlocutory appeal filed by Anthony and Cara Dibnah regarding intervenor funding.
 
At 3 p.m., members of the Siting Board will meet in the Public Service Commission’s Board Room, 19th floor, 3 Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York, with video-conference connection to the Public Service Commission Board Room, 4th floor, 90 Church St., New York, New York. In addition, the meeting will be webcast live on the Internet. The Siting Board will consider whether to grant the interlocutory appeal filed by Scenic Hudson, Inc. regarding intervenor funding.
 
Instructions to Attend Meeting in Person
 
All members of the public are invited to attend in person. Individuals wishing to attend the meeting in Albany, may do so in the Board Room on the 19th floor of the Public Service Commission’s offices at Three Empire State Plaza, Albany. 
 
Individuals in New York City wishing to attend the meeting may do so in the Board Room on the 4th floor of the Public Service Commission’s offices at 90 Church Street, New York City.  Pursuant to procedures established by the building management, anyone planning to attend in the New York City Board Room must notify Mr. Jan Goorsky at 212-417-2378, 48 hours in advance of the meeting, and must be prepared to show valid photo identification upon arrival at 90 Church Street.
 
Individuals wishing to attend the Siting Board meeting pertaining to the Galloo matter at the Dulles State Office Building must notify Ms. April Sears, at April.Sears@dec.ny.gov, 48 hours in advance of the meeting, and must be prepared to show valid photo identification upon arrival at 317 Washington Street, Watertown.

experience problems viewing the live webcast, you may view it at a later time by accessing an
archived copy of the webcast.  Archives are available on the Department of Public Service’s Web site
within two business days after the meeting.
