NYS OASAS MARKS OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY AT STATE FAIR
OASAS PROVIDING PUBLIC NARCAN TRAININGS AND FREE NARCAN, TEST STRIPS AND OTHER OVERDOSE PREVENTION TOOLS SYRACUSE, NY - The New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) is hosting Narcan training events at the New York State Fair on Thursday, August 31st to mark International Overdose Awareness Day. Training sessions will begin at 11am and include Naloxone Overdose Prevention Kits for participants. Additional overdose prevention tools such as fentanyl and xylazine test strips, Deterra medication disposal bags and medication lock bags will also be provided to the public while supplies last.
