Taxpayers who sign up for refund alerts will receive an email when their refund is issued. The email won’t contain any confidential or personal information. The taxpayer must log in to their secure Online Services account for details, such as the refund amount and approximate date it will be received and the refund method (direct deposit into the taxpayer’s designated bank account or paper check).
