LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (February 16, 2015) --- The entire gold medal winning 1980 USA Hockey Team (all 19 players), who achieved what Sports Illustrated proclaimed, “the greatest sports moment of the 20^th century” with their “Miracle on Ice” victory over the Soviet Union, will participate in a special event using video, audio and photos to relive the game, through their perspective, in Lake Placid, N.Y.  This February marks the 35^th anniversary of their historic achievement.

The 1980 Rink – Herb Brooks Arena will open its doors to fans on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. for an exclusive event with the players hosted by 11-time Emmy Award Winner Todd Walsh, who has worked with FOX Sports Arizona since 2001. 

Before those players take to the Olympic Center stage, several members from the team will participate in a press conference, being held in the Conference Center at Lake Placid’s Edelweiss Room. There, they will discuss their return to Lake Placid, their experiences since winning the 1980 Olympic gold medal and recount the events of the XIII Olympic Winter Games.
