Leaders from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), NYPD, New York State Police, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the New York City Sheriff make announcement about a crackdown on fake and obstructed license plates.

For reporters seeking transportation to the event, a press van will depart from the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av  subway station at 10:55 a.m.; the van will depart from Broadway between 74th and 75th Streets in front of the subway entrance.
