ADVISORY: MTA and Law Enforcement Partners Announce Crackdown on Fake and Obstructed License Plates

Leaders from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), NYPD, New York State Police, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the New York City Sheriff make announcement about a crackdown on fake and obstructed license plates.

For reporters seeking transportation to the event, a press van will depart from the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av efmr7 subway station at 10:55 a.m.; the van will depart from Broadway between 74th and 75th Streets in front of the subway entrance. Reporters en route to the press van who have questions should call the MTA Press Office at 212-878-7440. The press van will return to the same location at the conclusion of the event.
