Commissioner Rose Harvey will join state, local and community leaders to unveil the details and visuals surrounding a multi-million dollar renovation of the Peerless Pool complex. The current bathhouse, built in 1962, is in poor condition and is oversized and difficult to navigate, especially for young children.

The park improvements reflect Governor Cuomo's commitment to revitalizing the state park system and expanding access to outdoor recreation. The Governor's NY Parks 2020 program is a multi-year commitment to leverage $900 million in private and public funding for State Parks from 2011 to 2020. The 2016-17 State Budget allocates $120 million toward this initiative.
