It’s the Final Give Back Sunday at Whiteface

Bring Pet Food or Toys & get 50% off your Lift Ticket Price

WILMINGTON, N.Y. --- Re-discover Whiteface Mountain, in Wilmington, N.Y., this Sunday, March 12, and ski or ride for half price. During the final Give Back Sunday of the season, skiers or riders who bring a grocery bag of pet food and/or pet toys, or a 10-pound or larger bag of dry pet food to the resort’s ticket window receive 50-percent off their lift ticket. All donations will go to our local animal shelter

There’s still plenty of time this winter to re-discover the Olympic mountain, home to the greatest vertical and to the very best ski experience in the east. Whiteface offers more of everything including more snowmaking and more terrain for all abilities of skiing and riding.

Ranked number-two in the eastern United States by readers of SKI Magazine, Whiteface has the longest trails, the steepest of moguls, and some of the best glades, chutes and slides found anywhere in the east. And because it boasts the highest elevation of any ski resort in the northeast, you’re more likely to find great snow on its more than 15 miles of trails.

Plus, on Sunday, Whiteface and the Mountaineer, in Keene Valley, N.Y., are teaming up to present the inaugural Whiteface Ski Mountaineering Classic. This is a great chance for you to test out your uphill skiing skills and find out what the Alpine Touring scene is all about.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to NYSEF and The Keene Valley Ski Club. So pre-register early by calling the Mountaineer at 518-576-2281.

Once you’re done skiing and riding join in on the fun in the resort’s Cloudspin Bar & Grill, where you’ll find live music with Giovanina & Friends at the Cloudspin Deck Band Shell.

Put this weekend all together and you’ll discover that Whiteface has everything skiers and riders look for: great conditions, great variety, personal service and great fun for the whole family.

While taking in the longer days and warmer March temperatures, don’t forget to purchase your 2017-’18 season pass and ski or ride the remainder of this season for free. Full season adult Ski3 passes begin as low as $759.

Learn more about this year's pass offerings and pricing, and purchase your pass online today. Financing is available for all season passes when you purchase on or before August, 11, 2017.
