Originally opened in 1931, the property is steeped in Robert Moses-era history, which has been incorporated into the design through art deco touches and furnishings reminiscent of a bygone time period. The 5,500 square-foot interior comfortably seats up to 260 people, with exterior patios offering breathtaking views for 75 guests. Gatsby on the Ocean also features a bridal suite and groom’s lounge, which may accommodate 20 attendees for private dining/events. Adding to the historical charm are acknowledgements of the venue’s previous use - the bridal suite once served as Robert Moses’ personal office and the groom’s lounge was his conference room.
