Statement from MTA Chairman & CEO Patrick J. Foye on Biometric Time Clock Vandalism

MTA Chairman and CEO Patrick J. Foye today released the following statement in response to the MTA Inspector General's update on its investigation into biometric clock vandalism:

“The MTA has installed cameras at several locations where these clocks exist and we will continue to do so strategically throughout the system. We will continue to notify the Inspector General of any future potential vandalism to the clocks, and will work with the Office of the Inspector General to develop a process to identify locations at risk for repeated incidents, to prioritize future security camera installations and monitor installed biometric clocks in a cost-effective manner.”
