LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (June 20, 2013) --- USA Hockey will name its 2013-’14 women’s national team during a press conference to be held Monday, June 24, at 11:15 a.m., in Lake Placid, N.Y. This week, 41 of the nation’s best players have been participating in a national team selection camp, vying for spots on the national team that will train together and participate in various competitions in the build-up to the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Practices and scrimmages will continue through Sunday, June 23, in the Herb Brooks Arena 1980 Rink. WHAT: Press Conference to Announce USA Hockey’s 2013-’14 women’s national team WHEN: USA Hockey will announce its women’s national team during a press conference scheduled for Monday, June 24, at 11 a.m. WHERE: Conference Center at Lake Placid Edelweiss Room, 2634 Main St., Lake Placid, N.Y. 12946 The U.S. Women’s National Team Selection Camp continues through Sunday, June 23, with scrimmages scheduled for today, Thursday, June 20; Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23. All scrimmages begin at 4 p.m. ET. All scrimmages and practices will be held in Herb Brooks Arena 1980 Rink. Scrimmages will be open to media and public.
