Operating Engineers Recruit Apprentices |

Briarcliff Manor, NY (June 15, 2020) – The Operating Engineers LU #137 Apprenticeship Skills will conduct a recruitment from July 20, 2020 through July 31, 2020 for two Operating Engineer (Universal Equipment) apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications can be obtained from the Operating Engineers LU #137, 2075 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. All applications must be filled out in person and by appointment only. Starting July 20, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., applicants may call 914-739-8259 to obtain an appointment. This is a limited-application recruitment. Only 25 applications will be distributed, on a first-come, first-serve basis. The recruitment will be offered for 10 business days or until 25 applications have been issued, whichever comes first. The Committee requires that applicants:

Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
