$1 Million-Winning Powerball Second Prize Ticket Sold in Manhattan


The New York Lottery today announced there was one $1,000,000-winning Powerball ticket for last night’s drawing sold in Manhattan. The ticket was purchased at the Vinod News Center located at 180 Madison Ave. – Outside S.

 

The winning numbers for the March 22 Powerball game were: 02 – 09 – 27 – 29 – 42 and Powerball 09.

 

Powerball players who match the first five numbers drawn automatically win a $1,000,000 second prize.To win a Powerball jackpot, players must match all six numbers drawn. Winning tickets for all Lottery draw games at all prize levels may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

 

Power Play, available at the time of purchase for an additional $1, is a special feature that allows lower-tier Powerball prize winners to multiply their prize amounts. Players can multiply their prizes 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 times depending on the size of the jackpot.

Powerball drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
