Highland, NY (May 22, 2023) - Rondout Electric, Inc. will conduct a recruitment from June 12, 2023 through June 23, 2023 for one Electrician apprentice, the New York State Department of Labor announced today.

Applications can be obtained and submitted at Rondout Electric, Inc., 225 Upper North Road, Highland, NY 12528, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, during the recruitment period. All applications must be received by no later than June 23, 2023.

The program sponsor requires that applicants:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma (such as TASC or GED).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license. Apprentices may be required to operate company vehicles on public roads.
• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work and required classes at the approved school.

Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
