Customers may visit our website at www.mta.info and check out “The Weekender,” accessible by clicking “The Weekender” tab located within the Service Status Menu. The Weekender makes it easy for subway riders to visualize exactly how weekend work will affect subway service.

The “Weekender for Mobile App” includes MTA Subway Time data and is available for iPhone in the Apple app store, and in the Google Play store for Android devices.  This free-to-download app shares the same features as the desktop version, including a subway diagram that displays the service to be provided each weekend, and all service changes.  Users can pinch or expand the map to multiple zoom levels, and tap to choose one of three ways to view service diversions: Service by Line, Service by Borough and Service by Station. 

Customers can also download the apps at http://web.mta.info/apps/weekenderApp.html

TripPlanner+ provides travel information that takes weekend service diversions into account.  In addition, customers can receive customized subway diversion e-mails delivered to their inbox by signing up for the E-mail Subscription Program.  Just log on to the NYC Transit homepage at http://www.mta.info/nyct.

These weekend changes are part of capital construction work on the MTA New York City Transit subway system.  NYC Transit’s ongoing Capital Rebuilding Program upgrades and maintains our tracks, stations and signal infrastructure in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.  For more information on the 2015-2019 Capital Program log on to www.mta.info/capital.  Customers who rely on these lines should allow for additional travel time.

At all times until further notice,  trains skip Sutter Av-Rutland Rd and Junius St in both directions.  Use free shuttle buses instead.

• For Service to/from Sutter Av-Rutland Rd, free shuttle buses operate between the Sutter Av-Rutland Rd station and the Crown Hts-Utica Av station at all times.
• For Service to/from Junius St, free shuttle buses operate between the Junius St station and the Rockaway Av station at all times.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 7:00 a.m. Sunday, March 26, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, March 26 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 3 service is suspended.   trains and free shuttle buses provide alternate transportation.  Free shuttle buses serve 135 St, 145 St, and 148 St.  Transfer between  trains and free shuttle buses at 135 St.

From 7:00 a.m. to 12 midnight Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26, New Lots Av-bound  trains run from 96 St to 14 St.

At all times until Spring 2017,  trains skip Sutter Av-Rutland Rd and Junius St in both directions.  Use free shuttle buses instead.

•  trains will make makes all  line stops between New Lots Av/Crown Hts-Utica Av and 149 St-Grand Concourse.  trains and free shuttle buses will provide alternate service in the Bronx. 
• For service in Brooklyn and Manhattan, take the  For direct service between the Bronx and Midtown Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, use the . 
• Free shuttle buses will operate between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 161 St-Yankee Stadium, connecting with the  For service to/from 161 St-Yankee Stadium, 167 St, 170 St, Mt Eden Av, 176 St, Burnside Av, 183 St, Fordham Rd, Kingsbridge Rd, and Bedford Pk Blvd, use  service at nearby stations, or crosstown buses which run between several  and  stations (fare payment required).  For service to/from Bedford Pk Blvd, Mosholu Pkwy, and Woodlawn, take free shuttle buses via transfer at the Bedford Pk Blvd  station.

From 11:30 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27,  service replaces  service in Brooklyn and Manhattan. 

From 11:30 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27,  trains are suspended in both directions between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St.  Free shuttle buses operate all weekend between Dyre Av and E 180 St, stopping at Baychester Av, Gun Hill Rd, Pelham Pkwy, and Morris Park.  Transfer between trains and shuttle buses at E 180 St.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 25 to 1:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, Uptown  trains run local from Grand Central-42 St and 125 St.    

From 12:15 a.m. Saturday, March 25, to 4:30 a.m. Monday, March 27,  trains are suspended in both directions between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza.   and free shuttle buses provide alternate service.   service will run between Flushing-Main St and Queensboro Plaza. 

• Use  and  trains for service between Manhattan and Queens. Transfer between  and  trains at Queensboro Plaza.  Transfer between  and shuttle buses at Times Sq, and between  and  trains at 74 St-Roosevelt Av. 
• Free shuttle buses run in two segments: between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Times Sq-42 St, and between Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av and Queensboro Plaza. 
• The 42 Street  shuttle operates overnight.
•  service operates between Whitehall St and Ditmars Blvd from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 and from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26.

From 12:15 a.m. Saturday, March 25, to 4:30 a.m. Monday, March 27, Main St bound  trains run express from Queensboro Plaza to 74 St-Broadway. 

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27,  trains are rerouted via the  line in both directions between W 4 St-Wash Sq and Jay St-MetroTech.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 25, to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27,  trains will run local in both directions between 59 St-Columbus Circle and W 4 St-Wash Sq.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 25, to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27,  trains will stop at 155 St and 163 St in both directions.

From 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26,  trains are rerouted via the  line in both directions between W 4 St-Wash Sq and Jay St-MetroTech. 

From 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26,  trains are suspended in both directions between 145 St and 168 St.  Take the A instead. 

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, March 26, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, March 26 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound  trains run express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 36 St. 

At all times until early 2017 Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound  trains skip Avenue I, Bay Pkwy, Avenue N, Avenue P, Avenue U, and Avenue X.  To these stations, take the Coney Island-bound  to Kings Hwy or Neptune Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound .  From these stations, take a Jamaica-bound  to Kings Hwy or 18 Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound .

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, Monday, March 27, Jamaica-179 St bound trains skip 14 St and 23 St. 

At all times until Summer 2017, Manhattan-bound  trains skip 121 St and 104 St. 

• For service to these stations, use the nearby 111 St or Woodhaven Blvd stations instead. Or, take the Manhattan-bound  to 111 St or Woodhaven Blvd and transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound .
• For service from these stations, use the nearby 111 St or Woodhaven Blvd stations instead. Or, take the Q56 bus and transfer to/from  service at nearby 111 St.
• Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer bound  trains skip 104 St and 121 St between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on weekdays. Take a Q56 bus or the  train instead. 

From 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26,  trains are suspended in both directions between Broadway Junction and Jamaica Ctr-Parsons Archer.  Free shuttle buses and  trains provide alternate service via Jamaica-Van Wyck.  Free shuttle buses operate between Broadway Junction and 121 St, and connect with the  at Jamaica-Van Wyck, where service to/from Sutphin Blvd and Jamaica Center is available.  Transfer between trains and free shuttle buses at Jamaica-Van Wyck and/or Broadway Junction.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 26,  service is suspended.  Free shuttle buses and  trains will provide alternate service.  Free shuttle buses will make all  line station stops.  Transfer between buses and  trains at Myrtle Av.  For direct service to/from Manhattan, use the  via transfer at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.

At all times until Spring 2017, Astoria-Ditmars Blvd bound  trains skip 86 St, Avenue U, Kings Hwy, 20 Av, 18 Av, New Utrecht Av, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy.   trains will stop at Bay Pkwy and 8 Av.

• To 86 St, Avenue U, and Kings Hwy, take the Astoria-bound  to Bay Pkwy and transfer to a Coney Island-bound .
• To 20 Av, 18 Av, New Utrecht Av, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy, take the Astoria-bound  to 8 Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound .

• From these stations, take a Coney Island-bound  to Bay Pkwy or Stillwell Av and transfer to an Astoria-bound .
• For New Utrecht Av-62 St, take the  Transfer to an Astoria-bound  train at 36 St.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, March 26, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, March 26 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound  trains run express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 59 St. 

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, Bay Ridge-bound  trains run express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 59 St.
