MEDIA ADVISORY: MTA Officials to Celebrate 31st Anniversary of the Passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Leaders from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will be at the Coney Island Subway Yard to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act. As part of the celebration, MTA leaders will unveil forthcoming accessibility enhancements for paratransit, bus and subway fleets and highlight the Authority’s recent accessibility accomplishments.

Following the news conference, media will be allowed to board the paratransit, bus and R211 vehicles to capture photos and B-roll.
