State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey will join with several partners and local and state leaders to announce thousands of acres have been preserved and will be added to Parkland at four different locations across the Hudson Valley. Once threatened by development several pieces have been preserved and will create a publicly-accessible land connection between numerous state parks and provide protection to the scenic viewshed that accompanies. Commissioner Harvey will then join Black Rock Consortium Executive Director Dr. William Schuster and several other partners on an ecology stroll along the new Visitor Access Pathway at Black Rock Forest.
