Sheet Metal Workers Recruit Apprentices |

Jamestown, NY (December 31, 2020) - The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Sheet Metal Workers, Local Union #112, will conduct a recruitment from March 17, 2021 through February 16, 2022 for three Sheet Metal Worker apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications can be obtained at Sheet Metal Workers JATC, Local Union #112, 827 East 2nd Street, Jamestown, NY, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. All applications must be filled out on the premises and be received no later than February 16, 2022. The Committee requires that applicants:

Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner. Under state law, sponsors of programs cannot discriminate against applicants because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status. Women and minorities are encouraged to submit applications for apprenticeship programs. Sponsors of programs are required to adopt affirmative action plans for the recruitment of women and minorities. |
