Operating Engineers Recruit Apprentices |

The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Operating Engineers, Local Union #825, will conduct a recruitment from September 3, 2019 through September 16, 2019 for 5 Operating Engineer (Universal Equipment) apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Please note that the 5 openings listed for apprentices represent the total number for two recruitment regions, the Hudson Valley and Southern Tier regions. Applications can be obtained from Local Union #825, 96 Bates/Gates Road, New Hampton, NY, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, during the recruitment period. The application is also available on Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is a limited-application recruitment. Applications will be distributed during the recruitment dates or until 60 applications have been issued, whichever comes first. Applications must be completed in person. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
