Customers may visit our website at www.mta.info and check out “The Weekender,” accessible by clicking “The Weekender” tab located within the Service Status Menu. The Weekender makes it easy for subway riders to visualize exactly how weekend work will affect subway service. The updated “Weekender for Mobile App,” which now includes MTA Subway Time data, is available for iPhone in the Apple app store, and I n the Google Play store for Android devices. This free-to-download app shares the same features as the desktop version, including a subway diagram that displays the service to be provided each weekend, and all service changes. Users can pinch or expand the map to multiple zoom levels, and tap to choose one of three ways to view service diversions: Service by Line, Service by Borough and Service by Station. Customers can also download the apps at http://web.mta.info/apps/weekenderApp.html TripPlanner+ provides travel information that takes weekend service diversions into account. In addition, customers can receive customized subway diversion e-mails delivered to their inbox by signing up for the E-mail Subscription Program. Just log on to the NYC Transit homepage at http://www.mta.info/nyct. These weekend changes are necessary because of capital construction work on the MTA New York City Transit subway system. This work is part of NYC Transit’s ongoing Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service. Transfer between trains and shuttle buses at E 180 St. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, December 9 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, Norwood-205 St bound trains skip 170 St, 174-175 Sts, and 182-183 Sts. From 5:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11, Norwood-205 St bound trains run express from Bay Pkwy to 62 St-New Utrecht Av. From 12:01 a.m. to 12 noon, Sunday, December 11, service will operate in two sections:
At all times until early 2017 Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound trains skip Avenue I, Bay Pkwy, Avenue N, Avenue P, Avenue U, and Avenue X. To these stations, take the Coney Island-bound to Kings Hwy or Neptune Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound . From these stations, take a Jamaica-bound to Kings Hwy or 18 Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound . From 11:45 p.m. Friday, December 9 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, Jamaica-179 St bound trains are rerouted via the line after 47-50 Sts to Roosevelt Av. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, December 9 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, trains are suspended in both directions between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and Church Av. Free shuttle buses make all station stops between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av. Transfer between trains and free shuttle buses at Church Av. Consider using trains between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and Downtown Brooklyn or Manhattan. From 3:45 a.m. Saturday, December 10 to 10:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, Broad St-bound trains run express from Myrtle Av to Marcy Av. From 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, trains run every 20 minutes. Delancey St-Essex St bound trains run express from Myrtle Av to Marcy Av. At all times until Spring 2017, Astoria-Ditmars Blvd bound trains skip 86 St, Avenue U, Kings Hwy, 20 Av, 18 Av, New Utrecht Av, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy. trains will stop at Bay Pkwy and 8 Av.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, December 9 to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, December 11, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, December 11, to 5:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, trains are suspended in both directions between Whitehall St and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, December 9 to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, December 11, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, December 11, to 5:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, trains run express in both directions between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 36 St. Bay Ridge-bound R trains skip 45 St and 53 St. From 6:30 a.m. to 12 Midnight, Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11, trains are rerouted via the line in both directions between Canal St and DeKalb Av in both directions.
