MEDIA ADVISORY: MTA to Unveil R211 Subway Cars on Test Ride

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) leadership will unveil a complete R211 train in the Coney Island Yard months before it goes into passenger service. After a news conference, accredited members of the media will be able to board the train for a test ride. 

WHEN: 
TODAY, Friday, Feb. 3 at 11:00 a.m.  

WHERE: 
Coney Island Yard, 2556 McDonald Ave 
BROOKLYN 

**Media should enter the gate near the intersection of Shell Road and Avenue X**  

Following a news conference, the test ride will proceed roundtrip from Coney Island yard to Kings Highway on the F line. Members of the media who do not wish to return to the yard will be able to get off the train at the Kings Highway station. 

For security reasons, accredited members of the media who plan to attend must RSVP with their full names to kshults@mtahq.org by 10:15 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3.
