The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s (DEC) Lake George Boat Launch is unavailable for public use until Friday, June 17. The Lake George Beach Parking Lot which provides access to the boat launch is occupied by the Americade event under DEC permit during this time period.

Boaters are encouraged to use the public boat launch at Norowal Marina in Bolton Landing or any of the municipal and private marinas on Lake George during this time.

Lake George Beach and the beach house will be open on the weekends of June 4 & 5 and June 11 & 12. Beachgoers will need to park at the Lake George Battlefield Day Use Area on those weekends as the parking area at the beach will not be available.

Lake George Beach, beach house and parking area will open seven days a week for the summer season beginning June 18.
