ChargePoint Unveils First of 80 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Funded Through NYSERDA Award

Monday Morning Event at The Solaire in Battery Park City Will Mark the Growth of an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure in New York

Who:  Pat Romano, ChargePoint President and CEO; Francis J. Murray Jr., New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) President and CEO; Russell Albanese, Albanese Organization Chairman

What:  The unveiling of The Solaire electric vehicle (EV) charging station. Thanks to a NYSERDA award, ChargePoint will be installing more than 80 such stations around the state. Governor Cuomo has called for a significant increase in EV charging stations over the next five years to invest in an EV infrastructure.

The Solaire is one of the first “green” residential-use buildings in the U.S. Completed in 2003, it is described as an “environmentally progressive residential tower” and is LEED certified.
