Welcome to the Start of the 2017-2018 Skiing/Riding Season at Belleayre Ski Resort

HIGHMOUNT, N.Y. --- It is official, the lifts will be spinning on Friday, November 24, 2017, for the start of the 2017-2018 ski season at Belleayre Ski Resort, in Highmount, N.Y., with Onteora from mid down and Iroquois slated to be open.  The plan is to open Friday thru Sunday and then close Monday and Tuesday, then reopen for the season on Thursday, Nov. 30.  Early season rates will be in effect with $42 midweek tickets and $48 on the weekends. 

The Snowmaking Crew has been making snow on the top of Onteora, Onteora from mid down to the Overlook Lodge, Iroquois and Running Bear.  The snowmaking and grooming crews will work diligently to open the top of Onteora before opening day, but that is going to depend on Mother Nature, weather and conditions.  Stay tuned to belleayre.com for any updates.
